encinitas • californiaWhere the coast
slows everything down.
A beach town that never lost its soul — and somehow stayed that way.
The townSmall enough to feel
like yours. Big enough
to keep you busy.
Encinitas sits on the North San Diego coast — a stretch of California that surfers discovered decades ago and never left. The town has managed to hold onto that energy: local coffee shops, farmers markets on Saturdays, world-class waves at Grandview and Swami's, and a downtown that feels like it belongs to the people who live there.
It's the kind of place where the morning begins at the water and the evening ends around a table. Soluna sits right in the middle of it.
getting hereEasy to reach. Hard to leave
Encinitas is 25 miles north of San Diego and 90 miles south of Los Angeles — close enough for a weekend, far enough to actually feel away.

insiders tipsThings worth
knowing before you go.
Park once, walk everywhere
Soluna has 6 parking spots — use them. Downtown Encinitas and the beach are both walkable or a short ride. You won't need the car much once you're here.
The farmers market is non-negotiable
Sunday mornings on Coast Highway. Go early, bring cash, and plan to stay longer than you think. It's one of the best in North County.
Surf early, beach late
Wind picks up by midday — serious surfers are in the water by 7 AM. The beach is at its most beautiful late afternoon when the light turns golden.
Day trip to Torrey Pines
20 minutes south. One of the most dramatic coastal hikes in California — cliffs, rare trees, and a beach at the bottom. Worth a morning.
